WFS IN4SAFETY Strengthening cross-border cooperation with the development and implementation of joint emergency action plans in the cross-border area for a more resilient territory © EuroGeographics for the administrative boundaries]]> https://www.ita-slo.eu/en/in4safety conditions unknown None mv_dpc_hrd <p><strong>Heavy Rain Detector</strong></p><p>The HRD product aims to identify individual areas (polygons) potentially at risk.</p><p>Polygon determination is based on the IDL algorithm called CONTOUR: this algorithm searches for homogeneous areas with respect to a reference parameter and a predefined threshold value.</p><p>Currently, the search is based on areas with instantaneous precipitation (SRI) greater than 10 mm/h (threshold parameter).</p><p>To avoid an excessive number of polygons, areas that are too small are excluded (min_area = 20 km2).
